From a young age, Dr Diez has been deeply fascinated by the way the human body works and its remarkable ability to heal itself. That early curiosity evolved into a lifelong passion for natural healing, including herbal remedies, food therapy, and learning to truly listen to the body’s cues. She believes that food is powerful medicine and that healing often begins by nourishing the body from the inside out.

Her journey into acupuncture is rooted in a genuine love for helping people and a deep sense of empathy and care for others. She approaches each patient with compassion, understanding that true healing extends beyond physical symptoms alone. By treating the body as a whole—honoring the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of each individual—she supports healing thoughtfully, one day at a time.

Dr. Diez has training and experience in Hara diagnosis which is an abdominal diagnosis used to determine the underlying internal imbalances causing the condition or symptoms. She is also certified in Cosmetic/facial acupuncture (she provides  cosmetic acupuncture and mircocurrent services in Wai Acupuncture). She has experience treating a variety of conditions including Endometriosis/PCOS, infertility, pain conditions, poor sleep, and managing stress. She also has experience using scalp acupuncture to treat ailments such as post-stroke recovery.

A fun fact: she used to be terrified of needles. That fear disappeared after her first acupuncture treatment at just 13 years old, when she experienced firsthand how gentle, painless, and profoundly effective acupuncture can be. That transformative experience inspired her to help others discover the same relief, balance, and empowerment in their own healing journeys.  She is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
