Expert Acupuncture Longwood, FL

*COVID-19 updates: As of this time, we are only taking essential cases.  Non-essential cases will be postponed.  Our patients are of highest priority and we are following CDC guidelines to ensure the clinic is a safe place.  We have increased our disinfection only using hospital grade products multiple times a day and between patients in those high contact areas and devices.  We are also limiting the number of patients per day to practice social distancing and to reduce chances of virus transmission.  We also screen patients for symptoms and may ask a patient to stay home if needed.  All patients and family will have their temperature checked and asked to wash hands with soap and water.  We are educating our patients on standard precautions and good hand hygiene with proper hand washing technique.

Why we need blood works ?

Sometimes blood works are necessary.  It provides baseline objective data to gauge the progress of healing.  Laboratory results enable me to tell you what’s missing in your body and to work on a treatment plan (acupuncture/food therapy/herbal medicine/supplements/lifestyle modifications) to restore your physiological functions back.  Blood works acts as a gauge to constantly evaluate your healing process.  You’ll be amazed how your bodily function is restoring by just use of acupuncture, herbal medicines and food therapy.

Why I adopt "Integrative" approach to my practice?

My goal is to help you holistically achieve optimum health and wellness without unnecessary prescription. Integrative medicine combines the principles and practices of Traditional Eastern Medicine, and Modern Western Medicine.  While we highly value the effectiveness from Eastern medicine, there are also numerous modern tools we can utilize to validate and to guide the treatment.  I offer blood works testing with Functional Medicine Analysis to guide the healing progress.  e.g. Checking female blood hormones gives out progress on holistic treatment on women's health.  In case of pain problems, the Cold laser, Ultrasound or Infrared therapy can be used in conjunction with acupuncture to further enhance the healing effect.

What is Acupuncture ?

Acupuncture provides a safe, highly effective, chemical-free method to initiate your body's self-healing abilities

Acupuncture has been dated back to 5000 years ago, which has been widely used in Asia to promote health and well-being, prevent illness and treatment of various medical conditions. An acupuncture treatment involves the insertion and manipulation of flexible, hair-thin needles at specific points on the body. Most patients find the sensations produced by acupuncture treatment to be deeply relaxing both mentally and physically.
