We do not assume coverage without insurance verification
Two basic conditions must be satisfied before insurance can potentially be used: (1) The provider is in-network and (2) The policy includes acupuncture benifit.
- Insurance verification is a process to find out all the details of your policy’s coverage in reference to our services. We cannot assume coverage until we have verified your insurance.
- Different policies have different terms and services they will cover (or not cover). Therefore, each policy can be unique and we are trying to minimize unexpected surprises before scheduling your first appointment.
- We have to play by their rules when we use your insurance. Therefore, we may be bringing you some not so good news as a result from the verification. Please prepare yourself accordingly.
Instructions for BCBS\Anthem\Federal (or state) Employee Program members: We must run an insurance verification before scheduling your first appointment. Condition #2 above is the main reason we need to verify your insurance. When you contact member services for acupuncture provider, you will be given our clinic’s contact information. However, rarely will they check your policy for acupuncture before handing out our contact information.
In order for us to run a verification, we need you to send us your name, the front and back picture of your insurance card, your date of birth and your home address on file with your policy. You can either text these infomation to us at 407-917-1000 or email to [email protected]. If you choose to email us, please also include a call back number.
Once the verification is completed and we know all the details, you will be contacted and review the terms of coverage. Then we will schedule your visit accordingly.
IMPORTANT:- We have to reinstate that we DO NOT take any Medicare, Medicaid, Advantage or Supplemental plans. We are also NOT in-network with Cigna or Aetna. If you are not with BCBS\Anthem\Federal (or state) Employee Program, this is going to be a NO.
