In Florida College in Integrative Chinese Medicine
During my journey in learning Eastern Medicine, I have discovered many fascinating things, such as many astonishing ways the human body can heal through Acupuncture. After graduating with my Acupuncture License, I started my passion at Wai Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine.
However, the discoveries I have found both as an Acupuncture Practitioner and a former student was so great, I just had to share it with my peers back at school. I believe knowledge is good to have, but even better to share with one another. With the allowance of Florida College of Integrative Medicine, I had the opportunity to host a seminar as a guest speaker to fellow students who also pursuing a future of holistic healing.
– Combines Western and Chinese Modalities to the Fullest –
We have seen over and over again just how deep illnesses make their way in our global culture. Americans are especially more ill than they have ever been before primarily from the obesity epidemic, which leads a gateway to other diseases. Lifestyle factors like irregular diets, high stress environment, and sleep deprivation contribute further to the rise of illnesses. Unfortunately, many people simply do not the right knowledge to take care of themselves properly or establish control over their wellness.
My vision is to bring the power and truth of Eastern alternative medicine into the modern world in an effort to make better health and wellness possible. Eastern medicine practices dates back more than 5,000 years into the past, which comes from the vibrant traditions of Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine. I also incorporate the healing materials that mother nature leaves for us, such as leaves, flowers, minerals, tangerines, roses, cinnamon, and so many other herbal remedies into my practice.
I view the principles of health from the traditional perspective: “Good health is not just the absence of disease but a holistic and healthy mindset as well.” I am more than happy to serve as your bridge to start your journey with Chinese medicine, explain the infinite uses and concepts in ways that are easy to understand, and as well as clear up any stigmas and misunderstandings that too often scare people away from acupuncture.
By using Chinese medicine to prevent disease, I promote the idea of harmonizing with nature, having consistent healing, and strengthen immunities. I am a wholehearted proponent of the idea that the body can heal itself under the right conditions and I encourage everyone around me to live a balanced lifestyle, eat well and nutritious, and get enough rest.
I strive to bring out the beauty of each season, rather than trying to fight nature with my practice. To illustrate a better understanding of Chinese medicine: There is a stage in our life for every chapter we encounter, and each stage is to be embraced and celebrated. The best medicine, in my opinion, would include a healthy lifestyle, a positive mind, clean water, and organic food.
With both my experiences as a former ICU Nurse and an Acupuncture Practitioner, I have been trained in both Western and Chinese modalities. By connecting the wonders of Chinese medicine to our Modern world, seeing more people living holistically at their best wellbeing is my vision.
