Active Shingles FSM Treatment

Shingles | WAI Acupuncture

We have recently used Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) to successfully treat an active shingles case.

The patient has experience a lot of stress lately. The Herpes Zoster virus is responsible for her shingles outbreak. The virus likes to hide at the nerve root, usually on one side of the body. Stress is a factor that makes the virus active.

The virus usually starts at the nerve root, then migrate along the nerve. Many people will not know it is shingles at the beginning stage because they do not see blister at this time. But when you see blister on one side of the body, you know you have active shingles.

Conventional western medicine will treat with anti-virual medicine and the patient would have to let the virus runs its course. This typically takes 6 weeks.

After this period of time, nerve has been damaged and the patient can experience burning and tingling sensations for years.

The patient came to us two days after blisters began. Frequency specific microcurrent was started and the pain greatly decreased in 30 mins.

Patient came back the next day and the day after for a total of three concessive days of treatment. The pain has gone and there were no new blisters formed. Existing blisters dried up and scab over.

FSM can be used to treat a variety of medical conditions. For more information, please visit this page – Freqeuncy Specific Microcurrent or call 407-335-4688.
