Alternative Treatment for Parkinson’s Disease
We have recently helped a patient with Parkinson’s disease by using Frequency Specific Microcurrent treatment.
Ten years ago, the patient had a stroke while he was in the hospital from an underlining cardiac condition. His cardiac ejection fraction was less than 10%. The location of the stroke was at his basal ganglia resulting in his Parkinson’s condition. It has likely caused the loss of dopaminergic innervation in the basal ganglia leading to complex motor and non-motor symptoms.
The patient’s symptom has worsen recently and his doctor advise to increase his Levodopa. However, the patient has done his own research and aware the increased dosage can result in worsening in the disease progress in some cases. Furthermore, he came across Frequency Specific Microcurrent as a treatment for Parkinson’s and reached out to us.
The patient has an implanted AICD. Therefore the placement of the FSM contacts need to be considered as to not interfere with the detection algorithm of the AICD. A simple single lead EKG was performed before treatment as a baseline and a compressed QRS complex was noted.
After the first FSM treatment, patient’s movement has observed to be normalized. Patient states he feels the left and right side of his body have been reconnected. Post treatment EKG shows his QRS complex has gain amplitude.
Patient reported his energy level has also improved, especially in the morning. His QRS complex amplitude has continue to increase and normalized at his third treatment.
He was treated three time a week for a total of 12 treatments. The improvement has sustained and treatment has gradually spaced out to once every other week at of this writing.
